Not to mention today is payday and I just transferred $900 to my emergency fund. Go me! I am such a cheerleader for myself and I apologize for that (I was a cheerleader in high school though..) but I needed to make up for last month since I didn't transfer anything to my e-fund.
On another note, I did something sheepish. I could have avoided it but it slipped right by me. Remember how I went on a little shopping escapade at Express last weekend? Well, that $117 on my credit card was HIT with a finance charge of almost $10! Are you kidding me? That sucks. I was going to pay it off before the dang fee was to be tacked on, but I totally forgot that my statement closes each 3rd of the month. *forehead slap* That will be a lesson learned to watch my CC account more closely.
<---- THIS is what costed me that finance charge. I know, you're shaking your head at me for spending $98 on this thing. IT'S NOT EVEN REAL SUEDE. I already made the decision to return it tomorrow. The other $21 at Express was spent on a cute knit sweater (the London sweater if you are interested) and I am definitely keeping that.
Was there ever a time where you paid interest as it went undetected beyond your radar?
